In December 2015, the CVSD Educational Support Association II bargaining unit began memorial donations to the CV Education Foundation in the name of a member’s loved one who has passed on. They will touch the lives of many students in the district, as each generous donation supports the GIVE Grant program, which funds various enhancements to the classroom learning experience. The Foundation is grateful to the CVSD ESPA-II for their continued support. Their contributions will allow the Foundation to touch the lives of many CV students. Here are a few of the stories received by the Foundation……
M. Dolores (Carrozza) Palumbo pictured with some of her students. Dolores was a graduate of Bridgeville High School which is now know as part of the Chartiers Valley School District. She received her degree from Carnegie Mellon and her career included teaching at St. Elizabeth High School, Bridgeville High School and in PetersTownship.
